22th Annual North American Black Fly Association (NABFA) Meeting

Laughlin, NV

February 25-27, 2026

Hello black fly enthusiasts,

Our 2026 NABFA annual meeting will be held in Laughlin, NV from February 25-27, 2026.

  2. Black fly taxonomy session will be Wednesday February 25th
  3. Attendees will most likely utilize the main airport in Las Vegas. Looking at about 1 hour 40 min ride to Laughlin. There is a small airport in Bullhead City, AZ (just across the river) that might be of use to some.
  4. Hotel rooms can now be booked. Please follow this information from Harrah’s of Laughlin:

We set up the block of rooms for the North American Black Fly Association for Tuesday, February 24th – Saturday, February 28th.  Below I have listed the reservation link that you can forward along to your attendees.  When making the reservation, please let them know they will need to select BOTH the arrival and departure dates and press update.  Our website automatically defaults to a one-night stay.
